As part of Oracle NetSuite Security Operations and Engineering team, you will play a key role in the company’s continued growth and be involved in the design, development, implementation, and ongoing engineering support of the Oracle NetSuite security solutions. Our team is looking for people who share our energy, enthusiasm, and passion to innovate and solve complex security challenges.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead design, implementation, and enhancements of security solutions for Oracle NetSuite services and infrastructure

  • Develop technical solutions and security tools to support Security initiatives, integration and automations

  • Support security standardization through development of security best practices, guidelines and processes for infrastructure, supported systems and data center environments

  • Provide technical guidance and counsel to engineering and product teams across multiple initiatives

  • Participate in change control review and support

  • Drive innovation by evaluating, analyzing and proposing new security technologies and solutions

  • Drive security team’s program management strategies and initiatives

  • Facilitate collaborations and mentor other team members

Qualifications/Skills (Required)

  • Hands-on experience in network and system security technologies including firewall, network intrusion systems, SIEM technology, Pen testing and security monitoring,

  • Experience designing and building security services and tools

  • Superior understanding of OEL, RHEL, networking, system engineering, virtualization conceptions, etc

  • Experience designing cloud security and data protection controls

  • Work effectively with all levels of staff; work well independently and in a distributed, multi-functional team environment

  • Self-motivated with a Can-Do spirit, adaptable to change, and enjoy learning new skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to drive multiple projects concurrently

  • Excellent in documentation to develop processes and security standards

  • 8 years in security or network engineering

  • Programming and scripting skills preferred

  • Recognized industry certification and/or continuing education programs are a major plus including CISSP, OSCP, CCSK, CCNE, GSEC

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.

Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Maintains security systems for routers and switches. Administers security policies to control access to systems. Maintains the company’s firewall. Uses applicable encryption methods. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Prefer 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
