Our in-memory computing platform, built on the Apache® Ignite open source project, has been adopted by large and small organizations worldwide that need the performance and scalability offered by in-memory computing. The Director of Pre-Sales will report directly to the EVP of World Wide Sales and cover the Territory of North America and Eastern Canada.

What You Will Be Doing

Drive recruitment, enablement, and success of the Solution Architect Team

Ensure that key differentiators are part of Evaluation Criteria for POCs.

Identify what is needed across our existing teams to support this strategy, including in sales, and pre-sales process for gaining the technical win in all POCs.

Develop domain expertise and thought leadership regarding our current areas of focus as well as potential new areas for expansion relative to our Platform sales.

Eventually be able to Deliver basic training and Evangelical discussions at meetups and trade shows.

Must be able to navigate cross-organization with Engineering, Sales and Professional Services as necessary.

What You Need for this Position

BA/BS in computer science or related field as a minimum.

5+ years as a global enterprise software with demonstrated results in building sales traction in the enterprise as a presales SA and Manager.

Effective Communication skills and solid Technical Background

History of building teams and enabling sales teams with superior pre- sales support.

Collaborative personality that is comfortable working across many functions and teams

Organized and articulate with impeccable attention to detail

Details-focused execution skills and willingness to jump in and get it done in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Hands on and Management motivation is a must.

Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders and the pre - sales team in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales

Strong computer and technology skills (experience with MS Office Applications -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Previous startup experience is preferred.
