If so the Information Security Risk and Controls Organization (ISRC) looking for a new member to join our Service Delivery team in San Francisco, California.
The Technical Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for delivering key security initiatives and capabilities, to secure Autodesk s assets, data, employees, and infrastructure. A successful candidate will not only provide traditional project management services, but he / she will be integral part of the project team helping define and execute the solution. He / she will have to roll up the sleeves and be immersed within the project team, not just manage it. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills and the ability to work with individuals and teams within and outside the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to get comfortable with the functional AND technical aspects of security tools and solutions.
Responsibilities * Drive strategic initiatives / projects from inception to delivery, including driving requirements and scope, developing project charters and project plans, helping determine staffing requirements, and forming cross-functional project teams * Own the delivery of the security initiatives - not just project manage them, but be part of the solution team. The Service Delivery Manager must be aware of all aspects of the solution, especially the technical details of the solution and toolset, as he / she will have to engage in technical discussions with vendors, external teams, and project teams * Evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives on a regular cadence, in an effort to proactively identify and mitigate risks / issues / roadblocks, and address variances from project plans, budgets, and schedules * Serve as point of contact for incoming work requests and work with managers and project teams to prioritize work and resolve conflicts * Provide coaching and guidance to the project teams about aspects of project management and service delivery that will help them stay on schedule, proactively identify dependencies, and avoid roadblocks / issues * Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities * When needed, document functional / technical requirements, process documents, and hand-off documents * Collaborate with other organizations within Autodesk to drive risk-based security initiatives or coordinate dependencies. Some projects will be driven by ISRC, while some will be driven by other organizations * Assist team with the adoption and implementation of Kanban framework
- Function / technical knowledge of Information Security concepts capabilities, and tools (ie, vulnerability management, endpoint security, incident response, secure SDLC)
- Kanban experience a big plus
Preferred Qualifications * Thorough This person must be extremely detail oriented and thorough. There are a lot of moving parts and dependencies on our projects, and they all need to be tracked, categorized, and analyzed to ensure risks are called out and obstacles are proactively addressed * Persistent This person needs to be extremely persistent with gathering information, driving issues, and pushing schedules. This person needs to strategically and intelligently gather the information he / she needs, without seeming too pushy or aggressive * Organized The Portfolio Manager and CISO, to whom this person will report, tracks these projects on a daily basis. This person should be organized and have information available to quickly address questions / inquiries or rapidly reply to emails. Keeping meticulous notes, project plans, and other relevant documents is a must * Think outside the box This person must be quick on his / her heels and be ready to try different things to get things accomplished. There are quite a bit of personalities and individuals working on these projects, and this project manager will have to make snap decisions and change course in mid-flight, if the conversation, project, or meeting is veering off course * Collaborative This person will work with other organizations within Autodesk to drive security initiatives. This person should be able to assess, persuade, and be able to negotiate timelines, scope, etc
