The Talent Acquisition Specialist of Portfolio Search is the backbone of the team. No joke, we can’t do our jobs well without you. This means you will work in a way that positively impacts the credibility, effectiveness/efficiency and overall reputation of the Portfolio Search team. You will create thoughtful, well-organized experiences for talent + business partners throughout the interview journey. You are an ambassador for Gap Inc. brands every step of the way. Solving problems and connecting dots are what you do. You’re optimal outcome oriented and don’t shy away from ambiguous situations. As the Portfolio Search team leads searches for critical and complex roles, you’ll juggle competing priorities and work with highly confidential information across our brands and businesses. You’re visible, connected, engaged and play a critical role in our ability to hire the right talent, at the right time and in an efficient way.
Critical + Complex Roles.
This role supports tasks and projects for the Portfolio Search team and its work on critical + complex roles. It is a contributing member of a high-performing team and the player will share their point of view in a way that adds value and drives optimal outcomes -- you are not a back of house contributor.
Leadership + Personal Attributes.
This role requires a self-starter who loves to learn about the marketplace and how that can create advantage for Gap Inc. This player cares deeply about creating meaningful experiences for talent and will identify opportunities that enhance the interview, candidate and hiring manager experience. A stickler for the details, this player is mindful of what they’re presenting, sharing and how it’s packaged. Serving as primary point of contact for candidates and business partners throughout the interview journey, this player will manage the coordination and timely communication of all interview logistics and the pre- and post-employment processes to ensure we are compliant with all Company policies and procedures. They generally, see opportunities vs road blocks and have strong written + verbal communication skills. They will leverage data and innovation to drive results, and are meticulous in their use of our candidate relationship management database, in fact they don’t make a move without it. They will deliver high quality work, demonstrate operational excellence and ensure quality + integrity in everything they do. They are proactive, reactive and never lose sight that creating and supporting thoughtful and well-organized experiences for talent and business partners is their job.
1-3 years of experience in Talent and working in an organization that focused on customer and brand; Strong preference for candidates with experience working in a creative, customer-focused industry
