Responsibilities
Applies Dignity Health Core Values to the performance of every job duty. These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence. Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services and Charge Nurse, the Operating Room Staff Nurse utilizes principles of the Nursing Process, to provide individualized, goal-directed, professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgery. Responsible for supervising the care given by Operating Room Technicians, Surgical Attendants, and others working under her/his direction.
Qualifications
Must have one year of recent operating room experience as a Registered Nurse and have clinical competence relevant to the patient care area.
Current license in the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Preferred element: CNOR certification, ACLS
