Navigant Life Sciences is the Life Science strategic consulting arm of
the Navigant Consulting Health Care Practice. Our clients include
companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, drug

Day-to-day management of consulting assignments
Regular interactions with clients
Analyzing scientific, clinical, financial and strategic information to discern the business implications of new technologies and emerging trends
Conducting primary research interviews with clinicians, thought leaders, and executives in the healthcare industry and related fields
Managing and mentoring junior staff
Preparing and presenting written reports to Navigant senior management and clients
Travel is project dependent but averages 15 to 20 percent
Qualified candidates must be able to understand and clearly communicate the clinical and business implications of technically complex products and services.
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a deep interest in healthcare. We seek candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates should be strong team players, take initiative, and think strategically and creatively.
An MBA with prior work experience in the healthcare industry; a PhD in a science-related field; or a BS or BA degree with 2+ years of Life Science Consulting experience are preferred.
Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively
Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously
Able to travel via airplane with minimal assistance to client sites across the US and potentially internationally
Usually remains stationary for the majority of the day
Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data
