Help us build our sales team from the ground floor. As one of the charter members, you’ll be able to take prospective leads and develop them into significant opportunities. We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial drive in a fast growing company.
We continue to receive many qualified prospects from businesses interested in the Shippo product. As the first point-of-contact, you will be the ambassador of Shippo and help businesses understand our unique value.
You will work closely with marketing to source new partnership opportunities. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
Execute against all phases of the sales cycle, from lead nurturing to closing deals.
Maintain and expand your database of prospects.
Develop and monitor metrics to measure performance and quotas.
Exceed your annual targets on a quarterly basis.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
You have a strong track record of performance in a previous sales or customer facing role. Ideally, you have 2+ years of success in sales development or inside sales for a technology company. SaaS experience is a major plus.
You take a hands on approach to learning about the shipping industry and you are someone who enjoys getting things done.
You see projects to completion, making sure prospects become active users.
You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical or financial information in a simple and effective way.
You have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
