Kelly Services Project Manager in San Francisco, California

Our client, a non-profit health insurance company, is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager 9 month temporary position. The position is located in San Francisco, CA (EL Dorado Hills and Sacramento, CA can be considered).

The hours for this position are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Pay Rate is $65.00/hr - $85.78/hr W2

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Advanced training and experience in industry standards and best practices

  • Project Management and Rapid Implementations (PMI and Agile)

  • Quality Management (ISO/ASQ/Lean/Kaizen)

  • Operational Management (Six Sigma)

  • Proven success at rapidly completing high priority

  • Proven success at working across an enterprise (5,000 employees and greater), and within all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrated strengths at thriving in highly ambiguous and evolving environments, as well as high profile, urgent situations

  • Manages the development and implementation process of extremely complex projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivery of new or existing internal/external programs and/or products using cross-disciplinary project management/project leadership for large-scale corporate/enterprise-wide projects

  • Plans and directs schedules and budgets

  • Subject matter expert in sophisticated, best-practices organizational development, process improvement, change management, or project management processes

Requires Bachelor’s degree and 10-12 years organizational development, process improvement, or project management experience. PMP / Project Management certification and problem solving tools TQM, Six Sigma. 8-10 years proficiency required in MS Project, Planview, Clarity or similar project management tools. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with all levels of management and ability to coach, guide, or mentor. MS Office Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio). Polished and professional demeanor and appearance and ability to be adaptable to work in fast-paced fluid business situations. 10-20% travel required and may allow telecommuting depending on the project assignment.
