Instapage is looking for a Marketing Analyst to lead and own all analytics and reporting for the Marketing function. You will work directly with the marketing and data teams to offer insights into the performance of the marketing and sales funnel across the various channels, stages and campaigns. You will develop an analytics framework to identify and measure KPIs, build models and methodologies to standardize metrics, and create reports and dashboards to track them. You will proactively analyze the data to detect trends, patterns, opportunities and risks and communicate them to the leadership team with dashboards and regular reporting.
Analyze the data architecture, identify gaps in marketing data and tracking and collaborate with the data team to fill these gaps
Create a reporting framework by identifying KPIs across the various channels and campaigns and implement real-time dashboards and reports
Proactively communicate trends and patterns to the leadership team
Develop ways to measure marketing attribution,contribution and ROI
Work with the marketing team members to identify reporting needs and develop reporting requirements for BI dashboards
Assist with market segmentation, TAM and market sizing analysis
Generate compelling insights and provide actionable data to the marketing team
Perform ad hoc analyses to help the team with ongoing optimization initiatives
Be a thought leader and expert in marketing analytics
3 years experience in an analyst or strategy consultant role
Fairly knowledgeable in inbound and outbound marketing campaigns and tactics
A strong understanding of lead-scoring, segmentation, revenue and pipeline attribution, revenue influence and ROI
Strong understanding of Google Adwords, Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
Strong understanding of growth channels like paid media, email, website and affiliates
Exceptional analytics skills - you ask the right questions, define the relevant metrics, collect and process the required data, and present the conclusions in a digestible format for varied audiences
Expert in SQL, analytics tactics like Vlookups, pivot tables and joins
Ability to package data into relevant insights and communicate them effectively
Self-motivated, and persuasive, with a warm and nurturing personality
Basic understanding of landing pages, digital marketing and advertising
Superb organization skills and attention to detail
