Position: Associate Analyst, Marketing Analytics & Strategy

Department: Marketing

The Marketing Strategy Analyst will be responsible for delivering analytics, reporting, and data across numerous areas of marketing. As part of the Marketing Analytics & Strategy team, the candidate will work closely with key marketing and sales stakeholders to define and measure business performance across different product lines, sales segments, and industries. This role will require the candidate to handle large sets of data within multiple systems to develop custom reports, as well as build and maintain key analytical models and presentations to share this information with business owners.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist in providing marketing deep dive analytics, trending and forecast models and marketing research as requested

  • Develop and maintain analytical models to provide new insights to the marketing and sales leaders.

  • Use marketing data to create actionable insights within each of our project lines

  • Support ad-hoc requests to provide stakeholders with intelligent insight to the health of the business

  • Contribute to development of custom reporting frameworks to incorporate new data inputs, including new products and calculated metrics

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced Excel, data modeling and analysis skills

  • Passion for data, and analysis; Comfortable working with large data sets

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage day-to-day projects

  • Comfortable taking the initiative to develop solutions for unstructured problems and communicate the results to key stakeholders

  • High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and unstructured environment

  • Team player, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Proven problem solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal ability to communicate ideas through data

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college/university with a relevant degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Consulting, or Finance

  • Experience with Statistical packages such as R, SPSS, SAS, STRATA

  • Experience in developing reports in Business Objects or similar enterprise data warehouse reporting tools

  • Experience building reports and dashboard in Salesforce

  • Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc)

  • Experience in data modeling or database configuration

  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL or similar
