Position Information

Job Summary

Support Accounts Payable department in reporting and compliance in a variety of tasks and projects.


You will be assisting the Disbursement Analyst with day-to-day accounts payable duties including high volume data entry, maintaining spreadsheets & binders, drafting letters & memos, scanning, making phone calls to vendors, assisting with verifying, reviewing and researching paid & unpaid invoices, and other duties as needed. The position is vital to the daily operations of Accounting & Business Services.

Salary Range: 15.00

Hours per week: 20+

Schedule Preference: Any time between 8:30-5:00pm. No less than three days per week. Availability in Summer is required. A desire to stay long term is preferred.

Work Environment: Office

Minimum Qualifications: High attention to detail & analytical skills are key to this position. Must be organized, accurate and efficient. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, including customer service. Previous office experience and a general knowledge of sales & use tax is a plus. Must maintain a professional demeanor & dress code. Business & Accounting majors are given high priority.
