-Develops and implements strategic direction for highly-complex Home Décor department, including assortment, pricing, merchandising, marketing & product strategies to deliver sales & profit goals & grow market share across multiple platforms.

-Drives sales and gross profit through the optimization of product assortment, pricing, inventory channels & customer experience.

-Identifies & remove roadblocks for the broader team

-Resident Subject Matter Expert, cultivating cross-functional relationships that allow you to help the broader team move fast.

-Partners with Curation & Site Ops teams to build aspirational product stories & increase Home Décor exposure both internally & externally.

-Collaborates with Marketing across all platforms to build high-converting traffic drivers for distinct customer profiles & deliver to exposure plans.

-Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects to ensure business needs are being met.

-Maximizes the return on inventory investment in partnership with the Merchandise Planning team, cross-functional partners, and suppliers.

-Models compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity & ensures team is in compliance.

-Provides development & supervision to Home Décor team, ensuring team priorities are aligned with business priorities & skillsets are continuously upleveled.

-Supports cross-channel and company initiatives to achieve global strategic multi-channel plans.Minimum Qualifications:6+ years of proven experience in buying and site merchandising

4+ years of Managerial experience developing Assoc. Buyers, Buyers or Category Managers

Industry background required

Must have experience developing strong business relationships with vendors, industry leaders & cross-functional partners

Have managed and maintained open-to-buy

Must have experience managing and creating new categories of business in extremely competitive environment

Must have experience with high risk, high volume, complex categories of goods

Must have experience managing margin to meet category objectives

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceAdditional Preferred Qualifications:- MBA preferred
