We are a very well-funded early stage biotechnology company focused on the development of the next generation of personalized immunotherapies to evolve the treatment of cancer and other diseases. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist to join our pharmacology team.
What You Will Be Doing
Collaborate cross-functionally with several teams to progress immune cell-based cancer therapy to the clinic
Create, execute and manage in vivo and ex vivo experiments to evaluate the companies immune cell platform, such as in vivo anti-tumor efficacy, cell trafficking, distribution and persistence in animal models
Aide biomarker discovery and translational studies for companies clinical candidates through in vivo modeling
As needed perform hands-on work, including but not limited to; animal model handling, efficacy data collection (tumor measurement and imaging) and ex vivo analyses such as FACS analysis of blood and organ/tumor tissues
Oversee and examine experimental data, interpret results and prepare presentations for internal and external meetings, regulatory filings and publications
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and data to comply with internal quality criteria
Provide scientific inputs and contribute intellectually to the organization success

What You Need for this Position
Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biology or closely related discipline
Minimum of 2 years' industry experience
Must have previous hands-on experience working with murine tumor models including xenograft and/or syngeneic models
Must have experience with immuno-oncology models
Must be able to demonstrate technical expertise in executing and interpreting in vivo experiments in oncology research and technical expertise in murine tumor models
Must have prior experience in ensuring quality studies and accurate analysis of in vivo data
Must have previous hands-on experience in multi-color flow cytometry and show ability to independently analyze the data using analytical software such as FlowJo
Must have previous hands-on experience in in vivo bioluminescence and/or fluorescence imaging workflow and data analysis
Would like to have someone with good working knowledge of immunohistochemistry and data interpretation
