This individual will be responsible for managing customer stories and references in support of various Oracle communications and PR activities; liaising with PR, reference managers, campaigns, sales, marketing and product management teams. This individual will be a strong leader that aligns customer references to Oracle’s Communication team strategies and goals globally. This role will require a combination of excellent interpersonal skills, program management and promotional skills to grow the impact of the program and successfully align with key Oracle stakeholders and business goals.
Deliver references and customer stories to support Oracle's various marketing and PR activities in close collaboration and partnership with peers across functions including public relations, customer references, product marketing, product management, campaigns, social media, analyst relations, and sales.
Lead customer reference recruitment to support corporate marketing initiatives. Manage and grow customer reference pipeline via close collaboration with multiple key channels and develop new recruitment channels.
Collaborate with key stakeholders on the customer storytelling process to share customer stories via press releases, media interviews, event engagement, social media, and other marketing activities.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct reference customer interviews to support marketing activities and streamline approval processes.
Drive external and internal promotion of the customer's success story via blogs, social media, and events.
Help improve brand awareness by supporting PR and analyst relations activities requiring the voice of the customer.
Basic Requirements Include:
8 years of work experience with 5 years of experience in campaigns, product marketing, or related customer-interfacing roles.
Exceptional project management and prioritization skills. Applies a structured approach to defining, communicating and solving strategic problems and opportunities.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Operates effectively in a changing, fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, driven, and achieves measureable results.
Strong interpersonal and teaming skills and the ability to foster cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.
B.A./B.S in marketing or related field.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Development of communication programs to promote Oracle
- s products and services.
Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across line-of-business and/or geography as an account manager, with experience of creative production and media buying.
