Overview of the Role:

The Temporary Web & Digital Marketing Assistant [Hebrew/English Bilingual] creates new web pages and forms, processes content change requests and conducts other editing of the OFJCC’s web properties in both Hebrew and English to help the Web Services group provide a high quality website. You will review and edit web content for accuracy and clarity, and assist in QA. The Web & Digital Marketing Assistant will interact with program managers and other OFJCC staff, and collaborate with Marketing staff to review, edit and contribute new content to the OFJCC’s email and social media campaigns in Hebrew and/or related to Israeli programming. The Web & Digital Marketing Assistant is a vital part of our dynamic 8+ person Marketing team.

This 6-month temporary position will commence in early May, 2018 and end in early November, 2018.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Create and update web pages and forms, edit content in Hebrew and English, and ensure accuracy/consistency of information and links

  • Effectively and appropriately communicate and collaborate with all departments on web and marketing requests

  • Review, edit and create social media posts and emails in Hebrew and English

  • Perform other web and marketing duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven writing, editing and proofreading in both English and Hebrew

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Familiarity with all Microsoft programs

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to work carefully under deadline
