Job Role and Responsibility:

Manage the coordination, strategy and overall technical product development activities for assigned engineering programs in cloud computing/virtualization. Establish priorities for software engineering products and services and drive adoption and growth of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) offerings. Define the overall technical strategy, roadmap and go-to-market strategy for assigned product deployments, including project planning and key performance indicators (KPIs). Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity, and evaluate services for program inclusion. Manage program launch support activities between VMware and third party service offerings into the Managed Service Provider program. Gather, prioritize and drive program requirements, provide internal and external guidance to support delivery in alignment with MSP enablement strategy, and communicate MSP assets to support and grow the program. Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. Conduct data analysis by implementing complex data models and utilizing advanced Excel tools. Utilize professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the above duties, apply knowledge and/or skills of defining go-to-market product strategies for the Managed Services Provider market; conducting data analysis utilizing advanced Excel tools; collaborating with internal team and business to define product roadmap; analyzing technology trends; managing cross-functional teams, including internal teams and clients/partners; analyzing competitive product landscape; defining a long-term roadmap, identifying key opportunities and strategic partnerships, and developing deep domain expertise; driving and prioritizing requirements through the software development lifecycle based on business needs and strategy; translating business requirements into solution concepts, user stories, and test case input to support accurate deliverables.
