Our Product Development Recruiting team is growing and we are looking for some new additions. While our recruiting team is based out of Seattle, this role will join the dev team and one of our Senior Recruiters in the Palo Alto office. It’s a great opportunity to work with the local team to expand Tableau’s footprint in Palo Alto. Travel to Seattle will be occasional (2-4 times per year).

What you will do …

  • This role will be a Full Cycle position and this Senior Recruiter will be responsible for Sourcing to Close…and beyond

  • Partner with business executives (Director, VP+), hiring managers and the recruiting team to assess short and long term hiring requirements and collaborate on org wide recruiting activities and overall external talent acquisition strategy

  • Develop & implement effective and innovative recruiting strategies to attract and source high quality candidates

  • Screen and interview candidates for key role requirements and company values alignment

  • Connect with candidates throughout the recruitment process, provide a world-class experience, solicit feedback and ensure win-win outcomes

  • Participate in recruitment related activities such as conferences, sourcing lunches and open house events

  • Work closely with your peer team to support our overall efforts to hire in Product Development

  • Coach and mentor hiring teams and recruiting team members

  • Hire lots of really smart, inspired people

Who you are… #LI-JV1

  • Experienced. You have a proven track record of working in-house, as a corporate recruiter in the Palo Alto metro area, and delivering growth to fast paced, successful and innovative organizations. Experience (7-10+ years) recruiting multiple technical/software engineering full time profiles within a commercial or consumer product development (you have hired people who build products that ship directly to external customers) organization (Java and C++ devs, SAAS/Cloud, DevOps experience a plus). You have a recruiter brand and are known in the recruiting community. You have deep knowledge of the local market and have employed proven strategies to hire and build a local recruiting brand.

  • Company builder. You have a great eye for finding, attracting, assessing, advocating for and closing full time software engineering talent.

  • Go-Getter. You always work at warp speed and are willing to go the extra mile. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency.
