We are currently seeking a Process Technician, Granulation to join our Industrial Biosciences team in Palo Alto, California. The shift we are hiring is from 2pm to 10pm, swing shift.

Responsibilities:

The position will have the responsibility of working in the granulation and liquid formulation areas during the swing shift. Specific responsibilities will include operation of state-of-the-art granulation process equipment and analytical instrumentation to support formulation and granulation. You will also be participating in continuous improvement efforts to increase quality/service levels, improve process capabilities/capacities, and achieve higher efficiency and reliability. Experience operating fluid bed granulation equipment a plus.

Qualifications

The following are required:

  • Minimum education of high school degree (an associate or bachelor degree is desired.)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills (experience with computer based process control systems a plus.)

  • Ability to conduct work during swing shift (1400 - 2200).

  • Experience working in a cGMP or GLP environment is a plus.

  • The ability to work overtime, if required.

  • Ability to wear a respirator.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
