Job Role and Responsibility:
Plan, direct, and coordinate partner marketing policies and programs for software products and solutions in cloud environments. Work autonomously in an area of specialization to research and evaluate IT market conditions in local, regional or national areas, determine the demand for VMware products and services, and identify potential market opportunities. Work on complex issues requiring advanced analysis of variable factors. Drive key partner initiatives to grow the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) market through all types of partner Route-to-Markets (RTMs). Develop, coordinate and execute partner go-to-market (GTM) activities including enablement, marketing strategy, demand generation, sales, and service acceleration through gathering information on marketing factors and distribution. Evaluate the financial aspects of product development including Return on Investment (ROI) and use statistical tools to prepare analysis and modeling of target markets for partners. Work with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, professional services, and education to ensure full support for partner GTM initiatives that enable partner adoption and growth to achieve business objectives. Utilize professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the above duties, utilize knowledge and/or skills of preparing competitive research and modeling value propositions to support business case to clients; performing process, financial and statistical analysis and documenting results; developing and executing on partner go-to-market (GTM) activities including marketing strategy, demand generation, sales and service accelerations; identifying potential markets and factors impacting demand; assessing Return on Investment (ROI) for information technology (IT) strategies.
