Job Role and Responsibility:
Plan, direct, and coordinate financial activities including accounting, forecasting, planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for the organization. Direct and coordinate financial activities for assigned departments and conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting corporate finance and revenue. Work autonomously in an area of specialization to analyze financial information and forecast business, industry, and economic conditions to inform and recommend business decisions. Develop internal policies and procedures for activities such as budget planning, quarterly and annual revenue scenarios, key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, profit and loss (P&L) forecasting, financial planning for total spending targets, and accounting. Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and assess the performance of business groups against targets. Monitor developments and trends in the fields of software engineering, IT, business, finance, and economics. Provide ad hoc financial modeling, financial analysis and investment analysis and make recommendations to upper management to support key financial decision making. Utilize professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the above duties, apply knowledge and/or skills of ERP system; Excel VBA; Hyperion; partnering with business to drive system enhancements and influence process reengineering activities; creating presentations for executives, remote staff and board related to the financial planning process and results.
