The IDC Business Operations team designs, implements and continuously evolves business processes to support all aspects of the Infrastructure Data Center organization. In this role, you will work closely with leaders within IDC, key Infrastructure business stakeholders, and end users to devise optimized solutions for business problems and own delivery from concept to creation.

This position will be located in Menlo Park, CA with domestic and international travel required (25-30%).

Required Skills:

  1. Develop and sustain repeatable process for programs at the Facebook Data Centers globally (FRC, ATN, ASH, LLA, PRN, FTW and VLL)

  2. Ensure consistency across data centers through the development and implementation of a consistent business process

  3. Maintain both operational and long-range planning responsibilities surrounding the IDC Headcount Plan (+/-250 moves/adds/changes annually)

  4. Quantify pain points around operational issues and prioritize resources in areas that will deliver the greatest impact (i.e. ensuring equitable distribution of resources and creating a sustainable reporting methodology)

  5. Review operational and business issues and help determine if process improvement or a technology solution is required

  6. Conduct business process re-engineering workshops to innovate on business processes and define ways to improve their efficiency and effectiveness

  7. Elicit detailed business requirements by engaging the business to capture clear functional details to architect an improved business process

  8. Champion and provide oversight for initiatives during the delivery process and provide direct project management activities

  9. Lead/support all business readiness activities including end user training, product testing, and rollout

  10. Run weekly syncs to maintain proactive stance/awareness about issues

  11. Foster a culture of data driven decision making

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field

  2. 8+ years of experience in program management, proven project management, interpersonal, communication and demonstrated track record of delivering business value

  3. Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational experience

  4. Interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a global, cross-functional team in order to accomplish all necessary tasks

  5. Knowledge of operational challenges and solving problems in various areas of business

  6. Business Analyst experience with experience in requirement analysis techniques/methodologies, and a demonstrated track record of delivering business value through process improvement in high-tech operations space

  7. Independent in examination and analysis, along with being consensus-building and results-oriented

  8. Proven experience in executing multiple tasks simultaneously

  9. Communication experience

  10. Organizational and time management experience
