SUMMARY

The Executive Producer oversees large-scale projects and cross-account productions. This position, as a partner with a business development and or account director lead, manages multi-faceted teams and resources including operations (Client Solutions Managers, Conference Event Managers and Producers) as well as Strategic and Creative /Design team members. This leadership role monitors quality assurance for large-scale production efforts including responsibility for staffing to ensure production coverage on all programs. The Executive Producer is the link connecting all players, whether client-side, internal team member or external service providers and partnering agencies. They partner with teams across all departments and lines of business to ensure overarching project goals are communicated consistently at each touch point and are executed in line with Freeman standards. The Executive Producer drives project-specific client engagement and is responsible for cultivating senior level relationships with customers that position Freeman as a strategic advisor.

  • Manages projects from end to end including: partnering with Business Development Strategy and Creative to capitalize on new business opportunities, project concept, design and team scoping, schedules, budgets and synchronization of deliverables and services.

  • Builds comprehensive work plans, timelines and approval gates.

  • Responsible for planning and execution of complex, multidisciplinary projects.

  • Works with stakeholders to determine project goals and requirements.

  • Aligns project project plans to business goals.

  • Ensures that teams are properly constructed and roles and responsibilities are clear.

  • Meets and communicates with stakeholders regularly to provide project status updates. Identifies risks and manages emerging issues.

  • Manages multiple, complex tasks simultaneously.

  • Actively monitor progress, removing roadblocks and mitigate the impacts of decisions throughout the organization.

  • Works within specified deadlines; edit and revise work based on stakeholder feedback.

  • Collaborates with an interdisciplinary group of stakeholders from other disciplines such as sales, strategy, creative/marketing, expo/exhibit, event/production, audio/visual, digital, and overall operations.

  • Services as the main point of contact for client across all lines of business and all vendors.

  • Responsible for project’s overall success and job cost.

  • Implements and manages processes to support issue management and departmental efficiencies.

  • Propose sound and practical decisions by considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and all related requirements.

  • Demonstrates communication, team collaboration and presentation skills that are clear, compelling and meaningful to all levels of stakeholders.

  • Identifies employees for development, succession planning and training as needed.

  • Puts standardized procedures in place to effectively manage clients, programs and teams.

  • Manages multi-million dollar events and/or other “like” including “high touch” projects across multiple lines of business

  • Monitors budgets through duration of project lifecycle to manage job costs

  • Provide status reports to Freeman leadership with progress and/or issue regarding the event.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the brand experience industry specializing in creative & strategy, multi-dimensional design and program development and execution for Fortune 500 clients.

  • Experience with various projects types, including live event, consumer marketing, web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting.

  • Ability to translate the creative concept into a real life brand experience and to define solutions that will generate measurable results for the client.

  • Must have strong presentation, verbal and written skills.

  • Ability to think quickly under pressure, as well as motivate and engage the team to produce the best possible results.

  • Proven experience managing million dollar accounts successfully.

  • Excellent problem solving and challenge resolution skills.

  • Diplomacy and tact in challenging situations and in dealing with many personality types and working styles.

  • Must have an agile and creative mind and refined aesthetic sensibilities.

  • Proven leadership, team-building, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent negotiation skills (especially contract negotiations) with both clients and partners.

  • Proven computer skills in all MS Office programs.

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Able to sit in or relocate to the Seattle or West Coast regions preferred.
