Essex Property Trust Corporate Receptionist in San Mateo, California

Responsible for routing all incoming calls, greeting guests, vendors and associates; this station will also be relied upon for general clerical duties.

Handles administrative duties, including but not limited to:

  • Skilled in multi-line telephone switchboard, Reception of guests, clients and vendors

  • Light clerical support, including but not limited to Phone Lists, special projects

  • Maintains Front Desk/Receptionist Handbook

  • Assists in retrieving and sending boxes to CoroData and related data entry

  • Morning kitchen set up, including stocking of paper cups, creamers, coffee and paper goods

  • Daily mail sorting, package delivery, prep outgoing mail via overnight couriers, i.e. Fed Ex., Postage Meter.

  • Office Supply ordering

General Office Support for other Departments including but not limited to data entry and mass mailings

  • Creates spreadsheets and Word documents as needed

  • Supports & Cross Trains with Office Services Coordinator

  • Maintains Corporate Phone List

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years’ front desk experience in a corporate environment, customer service.

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Calendaring)
