JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Email Designer, Pottery Barn

Design, organize and coordinate email assets and graphics to meet brand creative standards and deadlines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design and layout e-mails with photos and copy for internal proofing.

  • Schedule and traffic all copy for campaign launches, input corrections and distribute proofs.

  • Releases Photoshop files to HTML coders.

  • Manually update HTML files with updated creative based on last minute business changes.

  • Review final creative proofs and providing approvals prior to launch.

  • Maintain an organized digital file system for all email assets.

  • Maintain, Design & Project Manage the Browse Series, Welcome Series, New Mover Series, Registry Series and Transactional emails.

  • Designs all in-store event emails.

  • Update and enhance the email header and footer templates.

  • Color correct or edit photo files in Photoshop as needed.

  • Research competitor and new best practices for email design/marketing.

  • Special projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Directly manage a team of junior to mid-level email designers.

  • Accurately set and meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Manage and maintain PB Archive website.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year bachelor's degree, concentration in Graphic Arts.

  • 5+ years retail eCommerce experience, or have worked with a similarly lifestyle-oriented brand.

  • Previous management experience a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Strong organization skills; detail-oriented.

  • Extremely proficient in Adobe CS.

  • Solid knowledge in HTML and MS Office.

  • Able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.

  • Able to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work self-directed.
