Summary: Autodesk is looking for a Project Manager with experience working in a technical environment. Coordinating long and short-term goals for the teams that build and implement our data and marketing systems, you will be responsible for leading efforts at the core of our business. You will engage in discovery, analysis, process reviews, requirements gathering, building project plans, and connecting the dots across teams located all over the globe. We need someone that can translate the languages of business, development, data, and marketing into an actionable plan; then empower & champion a team throughout project execution. Responsibilities: * Agile Project Management * Lead project planning and scheduling * Empower and inspire your project teams to meet their objectives Track project metrics to ensure commitments are met at key milestones * Work closely with engineering managers, technical leads, product owners, and key stakeholders to drive project planning and execution of complex enterprise software development projects * Ensure projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality * Facilitate scrum ceremonies within your team, and participate in scrum of scrums across teams * Manage cross-team dependencies and initiatives
* Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and unknowns * Communicate project status & timelines for cross-functional team understanding * Work with various stakeholders to prioritize requirements, bug fixes, and enhancements
* Define project success metrics * Utilize commonly used Project Management methodologies and approaches to manage project and set expectations * Track and ensure release acceptance criteria are met Requirements: * Strong Project management and analysis * Strong technical background and ability to understand complex product functionality, design and technical issues, in order to drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions * Agile methodology experience, scrum master or product owner certified preferred * Ability to adapt to change * Strong Business Acumen * Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written) and the ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and discussions * Previous experience working with global and cross-functional groups * A willingness to learn and grow as company needs evolve * Experience with common Project Management tools (Aha!, JIRA, Asana) and CRM systems (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce) * Previous software or web development experience preferred * Understanding of the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery * Comfortable working with remote teams 3 Signs you are a strong candidate: o You like to get to the bottom of things; you are not shy about interviewing people in the organization until you understand exactly what their needs are and how their requirements fit into the bigger picture. You know which questions to ask to get clarity and are diligent about understanding the impact of the Project and its impact to Stakeholders. o You have an ability to interpret people s input and be able to document their requirements in a way that can better align priorities that will drive the scope and success of the project. You are able to quickly understand where bottlenecks exist, how project activities and processes are interrelated to each other, and are able to make recommendations on how to improve a process to keep a project running smoothly. o You understand that communication is key. While being detail-oriented and meticulous, you understand that you need to tailor communications to various audiences to ensure that everyone is aligned. o You are confident and comfortable with the responsibility of holding the compass that guides your team on the journey towards the true North of a project s vision. Preferred Qualifications: o Previous Agile Project Management/Business Analysis experience in a technical environment o Previous Consulting experience desired but not necessary o Demonstrated ability to analyze, document requirements, and drive project success o Education: emphasis in Marketing, Software Development, or IT preferred
