PayPal's Global Product Launch Management team 1) develops best practices and tools to improve how we bring products to market and 2) implements those best practices, leading the most complex launches to ensure we delight our customers and achieve business results. You will lead cross-functional teams comprised of Product, Engineering, Analytics, Product Marketing, Professional Services, Sales, Operations, Risk and Public Relations towards a common goal: launching high quality, relevant product capabilities globally across all PayPal markets that meet the needs of our merchant customers and partners.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Create and execute against a holistic go to market plan to ensure a successful global launch for new product capabilities with the needs of the end customer always in mind. Lead the cross-functional global team, providing strategic and tactical expertise. Enable country rollouts, lead testing activities (alpha, beta, pilots) and end-to-end experience reviews. Be the single voice of truth on progress and challenges to stakeholders and leadership across all regions.

  • Launch strategy:

  • Define geographic scope and product functionality

  • Detail timing, ramp and analytics plan

  • Define and communicate roles and responsibilities for cross-functional team to ensure alignment and support

  • Launch execution:

  • Executes moderate to high complexity launches; scales launch best practices by consulting on smaller initiatives

  • Follows existing best practices to create launch plan and contributes to evolving our approach and tools

  • Creates and manages clear gating criteria with business partners

  • Manages pilots and beta and ensures feedback is acted on by working team

  • Identifies and mobilizes global launch working team

  • Understands needs and requirements for global rollouts

  • Champions Launch Management best practices across the organization

  • Cross-functional/organizational leadership and influence:
