TH Real Estate is seeking an analytically strong individual with a solid commercial real estate capital markets and finance background including extensive experience obtaining, arranging and closing (either as a principal owner or intermediary) floating rate bank balance sheet financing, fixed rate term loan financing (balance sheet and CMBS), and lines of credit. The company seeks a candidate who is eager to pursue an opportunity to progress in the Real Estate Finance team. Commercial real estate lending experience is definitely a plus. The right individual must have a strong command of real estate financial analysis, including Argus cash flow modeling and an understanding of real estate capital markets, as well as solid critical thinking and communications skills to be successful. The position provides an opportunity to work in a high profile, dynamic and creative environment in an institution with a long history of commercial real estate investing.
Oversee and coordinate all US real estate financing activity including obtaining debt for new property acquisitions, previously unencumbered properties and property portfolios.
Source secured and unsecured lines of credit for funds and conduct hedging activities in connection with real estate-related debt including securing and arranging interest rate caps and swaps.
Provide strategic and tactical advice regarding debt and hedging to the Portfolio managers of TH Real Estate.
Oversee and ensure compliance with the TH Real Estate procedures and processes for obtaining and closing all real estate debt-related transactions.
Maintain relationships at the senior executive level with real estate lenders and loan brokers throughout the industry.
BA degree in Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in relevant commercial real estate finance experience.
Extensive industry contacts among the lending and mortgage intermediary community, across balance sheet, CMBS, and debt fund shops.
MBA or CFA
Commercial real estate lending experience
Strong financials/quantitative and critical thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter who is willing to work independently.
Proficient in Argus, Excel and PowerPoint.
Well organized and able to balance multiple and diverse priorities while delivering quality product.
