Wells Fargo Corporate Credit

Wells Fargo’s Corporate Credit Group is responsible for identifying, monitoring and managing risk of all Wells Fargo businesses. The underlying role reports into a team that owns & manages credit risk for our consumer credit card line of business.

Credit Card line of business has been growing over the years. One of the key areas of growth is by expanding new card originations through internet channel.

THE POSITION

The key role of this individual is to design, deploy an effective initial credit line assignment program for our internet origination credit card accounts. This role is highly visible given that it is one of strategic initiatives of the bank.

Specifically this individual will have responsibility for (including, but not limited to):

  • Develop an effective Initial Credit line assignment program for accounts acquired through the internet channel.

  • Define & deploy key tests & capabilities required to institute to acquire experience in low confidence areas.

  • Build strong relationships with the underwriting team, other line management teams and business teams goal to seek global optimal solutions.

  • Improve the overall underwriting credit policy (pricing, approval, cash line programs etc).

  • Foster positive team culture

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of risk experience

  • 2+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative discipline

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
