GMR Marketing Account Executive, Project Manager in San Francisco, California

Position reports to the Senior Account Director at GMR Marketing and works on a day-to-day basis supporting Visa’s Consumer Credit Assets team focused on Travel and Lifestyle platform benefits. The Account Executive will be responsible for reporting and tracking, approvals, file maintenance, development and maintenance of client communications including but not limited to, templates, documents and activation guides.

  • Develop a solid understanding of Visa’s platform travel and lifestyle benefits including their product profiles and marketing and messaging guidelines

  • Strategize with consumer credit product stakeholders on the development and management of documents, tools, templates and processes

  • Track and update ongoing revisions of marketing assets including, messaging guides, UX flows, sales materials and disclosures

  • Liaise directly with benefit partners regarding any business updates, including but not limited to benefit offerings, marketing approvals, UX experiences, client promotions and projects

  • Manage project plans, including deliverables and timelines for benefit providers, client account teams and client agencies

  • Inform policies and procedures for Visa Signature and Visa Infinite activation and approvals

  • Manage a monthly team tracker that includes status of product launches, BAU activity, client activation and status of travel & lifestyle benefits

  • Contribute to content management associated with Visa Signature and Visa Infinite issuer microsites (“portals”)

  • Collect and analyze benefit utilization data and compile into monthly and quarterly business dashboards

  • Support with RFP content ideation, development and tracking

  • Research current trends and insights within the consumer credit, travel & lifestyle and financial technology space and provide a monthly insights deck

  • Share activation guidelines, creative assets and concierge documents to help steer client/agency marketing initiatives and support the approvals process with various Visa stakeholders

  • Ability to work remotely at client office, as needed

  • Support client status reports, agendas and meeting notes

  • Roles and responsibilities will adjust based on project and client needs. Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field

  • 2-3 years marketing, project management and/or events experience

  • Experience with an agency is a plus

  • Propensity and passion for learning and pushing forward key product initiatives for a Fortune 500 company

  • Experience communicating directly with cross function teams including broad range of internal, external and client-led stakeholders; including benefits providers

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

  • Excellent time-management, organizational and analytic skills; experience in client management is a plus

  • Great attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated with work ethic that is driven by personal pride in a job well done

  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Visio is a plus

  • Ability to work as part of a team, both in person and over phone/email and assist with various projects
