Sutter Health Supervisor (RN) Urgent Care Service Line - San Carlos in San Carlos, California

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned physician practices which includes supervision of personnel, staffing, implementation of new and continued application of existing policies and procedures, adherence to compliance policies, and submission of reports.

  • Project planning, leading and implementation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for regular contact with physicians, patients and staff.

  • Strong fact-finding, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills to ensure process improvement, initiates and projects are successful.

  • Ability to participate in long-range planning and department operational and payroll budgeting.

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and physicians.

  • Ability to organize work and to achieve goals and objectives aimed at improving clinical services

  • Ability to set priorities among multiple projects and tasks.

  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and IDX, EPIC.

  • Acts as a coach to mentor, motivate and inspire staff

  • Plans for the utilization of float staff when staff and/or providers are on PTO, sabbatical, or leave or absence

Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN;

  • Previous successful supervisory experience.

  • Basic Life Support Certification - BLS

  • Strong verbal/written communication with the ability to accurately document relevant disciplinary events, issues or department incidents
