The Pharmacy Technician Lead assists the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services in compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Checks for compliance with duties outlined by the Board of Pharmacy before the product is released from the pharmacy. Functions include those allowed by the Board of Pharmacy. This position assists the Manager, Pharmacy Business Operations by functioning as a working lead for Pharmacy Technicians. This position oversees the day-to-day staff schedule and work flow, guides employees in standard methodologies, ensures adherence to best practice guidelines. Provide input to the Supervisor on performance of staff technicians for the annual review.

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:perferred, four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience including two (2) years of supervisor experience

License/Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician credential issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

License/Certification: CPhT - Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the California Board of Pharmacy
