Summary:

Facebook is seeking analytical, process / detail-oriented Sales Operations Program Manager who can partner effectively with key cross-functional stakeholders. The role will be part of the Global Sales Operations organization supporting Global Marketing Solutions (GMS) Operations, with a focus on product & service operations. The Sales Operations Program Manager will work cross-functionally with several groups at Facebook (including business operations, finance and engineering). The role will entail developing operations and service strategy, analyzing business performance, improving efficiency through automation, and performing business performance analysis to identify short and long-term business growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and advertising technology, intellectually curious, able to work independently, comfortable with ambiguity, a fast learner, and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects. This is a full-time position and is located in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Build partnerships with GMS Operations leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders

  2. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

  3. Conduct insightful analysis using internal and external data (e.g. revenue, product, market, industry) to derive insights that will drive business decisions

  4. Support ops teams with key planning and operational asks

  5. Focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

  6. Project manage the development of centralized tools that teams can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner

  7. Drive the development and adoption of performance metrics for operations and service teams to identify levers for efficiency gains and quality improvements

  8. Support service and operations strategies based on robust analysis of client needs and best practices

  9. Drive operational excellence in the operations & service teams through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)

  2. 8+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 6+ years with MBA/Master’s degree

  3. Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

  4. Demonstrated ability to present technical content to audiences

  5. Proven stakeholder management skills – including managing multiple partners simultaneously

  6. Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field

  2. Experience with SQL

  3. Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

  4. Experience extracting data from large/complex databases

  5. Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools

  6. Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
